I have a confession....

...I am obsessed with the book Twilight and I don't care who knows it! I have been hearing rumors of this book and the entire Twilight saga for a few months but haven't really paid too much attention to it. That is, until I saw an extended trailer for the movie that is coming out November 21. OMG, it looked soooooo good that I ran over to Target to buy the book and was extremeley dissapointed that they were out of stock. On the other hand, that made me want it even more because an empty shelf means that the book is good! So, reluctantly I ran over to Wal-mart ( I don't like giving that store any of my business but that is a different story for another time!) and they had tons of them! I happily purchased it and started reading it. I have not been able to put it down since then. I am about 3/4 through and the book is 498 pages. I know. I'm a dork. What can I say? I am a sucker for these kinds of books. I haven't been this enthusiaatic about a book since I read The Other Boleyn Girl which I thought was awesome. Anyhow, I just wanted to let every one know. :) I know....RANDOM!! Oh well. It's my blog! ;)

Once a month.

That is about as often as I have been posting lately. I can't help it. School has taken over my life! The work load from all of my classes can be overwhelming sometimes. I shouldn't be surprised, though....these are graduate level courses. I guess I am still adjusting though.

Besides school, I am still taking care of Papa. He is about where he was a few months ago--no worse, but definitely not better. He is still argumentative but he is 84 and stuck in his ways. And I always want to correct him when he is wrong (which is a lot!) so we just clash. Oh well. Que sera, sera!

Let's see.....Cami was enrolled in Doggie College. She is the sweetest dog ever but she has her issues. For one, she is stubborn as all get out and just doesn't listen. She is still having problems with going to the bathroom outside. (Heidi, maybe you would have some suggestions with that?) She is still a puppy and still learning but we are trying to take care of the issues now so that they don't become bigger issues in the future.

This past Friday, my Ashland supervisor came to observe me in the classroom. I taught a lesson on rhyming. The kids all behaved great and listened very well, which I was very thankful for! After the lesson, we went off and discussed some things. I got all 4's and 5's on my evaluation, which I was very pleased with. She told me to keep up the good work and gave me one or two suggestions for the next lesson I teach. I also received a compliment from the principal a few weeks ago. She told me that I was a natural with the kids and praised me for doing a good job. That made me feel really good and proud of myself, especially coming from the principal. :)

Well, I think I have everything covered. I know, I lead a very boring life. I apologize for that! :P I am off to write my two 10 page papers (gross!). Wish me luck, I'll need it!!

Toodles!
