Frustration!

Gaaahhhhh! Okay, so my cell phone is the Samsung Glyde. I got it in May and haven't really had any problems with it. Well, as of the past couple weeks, the touch screen has been acting up. It doesn't do what I want it to do and it pretty much has a mind of it's own. Seriously, my phone was on my nightstand, clear on the other side of the room and I could hear the quiet vibrations it makes when you touch the screen. It was like someone was playing with the phone....except no one was there. (Heidi: Okay, so I was going to insert a feeble attempt at a Twilight joke here--something to the effect of Edward appearing in my room through the window and pressing buttons on my phone, but it sounded funnier in my head than it did on the screen, sooo yeah. But I figured you'd appreciate that, though! :))

ANYHOW
, so today I get a phone call from my best friend, Kim, informing me that her boyfriend has the same phone and was having the same problems. He took it into the Verizon store and they told him that there was a software update and that a lot of people were coming in with same problem. Supposedly, this was supposed to fix the problem. So, I venture over to my local Verizon establishment and tell them my problem. They assured me right away that this was in fact the software problem and that once updated, the phone should be fine. Sweet, right?

Wrong. The phone is worse, especially the touch part and now I can't even go on the internet on the phone! Gaaaahhh! On top of that, apparently Verizon Customer Service replies only to emails and not phone calls so it looks like I will have to make another trip over to the store tomorrow, weather permitting--apparently, the roads are freezing over outside.

Soooooo, okay I vented. I feel a smidge better. :)
